Claydays came into fruition from our own personal journey with clay. Before we launched, pottery was our ultimate creative outlet—a dedicated pocket of time to slow down, disconnect from a busy digital world, and feel the immense contentment of crafting something unique by hand. We experienced firsthand how mass-produced objects lack the human connection and beautiful imperfections of handmade creations.Realizing how difficult it could be for beginners to find local studio space, waitlists, or heavy equipment, we wanted to share the simple joy of making with everyone. We set out to design an all-in-one home kit that bypasses the need for a pottery wheel or kiln, acting as an open invitation to play, slow down, and embrace a mindful yet beautifully mindless practice.Each item in our kit has been carefully selected, keeping you and our precious planet in mind. We have sourced simple, natural materials, and provide the option of purchasing extra clay so that you can continue to reuse everything in your kits for years to come. We have reduced our packaging to as little as possible, and are always striving to reduce our footprint. By using locally sourced clay we hope to foster a deeper connection with our land, as well as the people you create with.
